I got my free copy of EE yesterday. Or rather, I only noticed that I had it yesterday. I didn’t get any email about it, it was just there in the “Download Area”. I of course installed and played around with it. I guess I’ll be switching to it now. But I still feel bad about not having paid for it, so I’ll donate something.

i took a chance and logged onto pMachine and clicked on “download area” and only saw 3 choices… the 14-day trial, the pMachine Free, and pMachine Pro. i guess you got a 4th choice?

Yes, there’s a fourth choice. It says “ExpressionEngine Non-commercial License”.
I know, it’s really fun playing with all these cms options! Just to see how each one of them works, and plus there are a lot of great scripts out there.
