OK, here’s my review of Expression Engine.

First I will mention what I want to get out of EE, or rather what I need EE to provide. I just want to maintain a web log, for personal use. I do not need a full blown content management system with forums, mailing lists and the like. I’d like the system to be able to customize the templates and be able to control exactly what content to display. I’d like to be able to add extra functionality without hacking too much at the system files (which is where plugins come in, I believe).

What I’m going to do is try and duplicate my current pMachine blog into EE, and maybe discuss some of the new features available.
