Opera is celebrating their 10th anniversary by giving away free registrations for their web browser. The deal is only for today. It’s so strange to think that Opera has been around for 10 years – wasn’t it earlier this year that Yahoo celebrated their own 10 years of existence? I didn’t think Opera had been around for as long as 10 years.
I wrote my impressions of Opera a few months ago, but hadn’t really used the browser much after that. I’m glad that Gmail works with that browser now!

I can’t believe it’s been in existance for that long myself, although I have downloaded it several times in the past few years. No, I wouldn’t pay for it either. I’ve gotten cracks and stuff to remove the ads in the past but I’m glad they are being generous by giving away the registration today. So I am now the owner of a legal copy of Opera. Will I use it? Don’t know yet, but it does look promising.

I’m probably going to use Opera mainly for testing layouts and so on. I’m using it right now, and already I’m having a hard time adjusting to the keyboard shortcuts!
