I hope you folks enjoy your Valentine’s Day! For me it’s just going to be like any other day, except I have an exam. But I’m not too worried, because I think I’m well prepared!
Isn’t this cute??

Ok, before I mentioned I had trouble installing the trial version of Expression Engine. I asked for help in the forums, and eventually got a reply from Rick Ellis. I sent him my host info so he could look around and see what was the matter. Not long afterwards, I received a reply saying it was a problem with the encryption that they were using to lock the source code. So, he uploaded the unencrypted version for me!! Isn’t that so nice? After that, I could install with no problems! You can check it out here.
I’m feeling sooo giddy right now. It’s like getting a brand new toy to play with. I’m not going to keep the blog up for more than the 2 week trial period though; it wouldn’t be right. I’m going to play around with it after my midterms are over and see what it can do. The problem is, if I like EE too much, I’ll be tempted to buy it. Because maybe I won’t want to continue playing with the old toy (i.e. pM Classic) anymore. Argh.

I don’t think I’ll get around to playing with EE for a bit, but when I do, I will try and write some kind of review.
