Gmail Attachments Uploaded While You Type

After I wrote up my last post (where I said I downloaded my Furl archive), I went to my Gmail account to upload the zip file there as a backup. As I was typing a sentence to myself, I noticed that the page was still loading. Gmail was automatically uploading the attachment! I’m sure that this feature wasn’t there before, so they must have implemented it when they introduced the auto-save feature. Anyway, it’s more convienient than uploading the file attachment after you press “Send”.
