The weather is both hot and humid over here, it’s disgusting. The one place at home where it’s nice and cool is in the basement. That’s where I am right now.

I spent the evening making wallpapers for my cellphone. It’s pretty much like making icons for LiveJournal, except I have a slightly bigger space (128×128 pixels) and I have to leave some space to make sure I can read the text on the phone. I used the background images from the candybar doll maker, because they’re so cute. I got rid of the doll and cropped the background to the right size. So now I have about a dozen wallpapers to choose from.

Worth1000.com had a photoshop competition for Absolut Vodka ads. I tried doing something like this myself before, but I’m not good enough with manipulating images. I love most of the contest entries! (The link was from del.icio.us.)

When I checked my gmail email address today, I noticed that my custom skin wasn’t working, and my greasemonkey scripts weren’t working either. The gmail url has changed from gmail.google.com to mail.google.com, which messed up the scripts. Luckily the two greasemonkey scripts I use (smart delete and persistent searches) posted updates. Now I have to fix my skin.

I spent almost all afternoon on Sunday playing Day of the Tentacle, an old but good adventure game. I’ve played it over many times in the last 12 years and I still really enjoy playing it. There are three main characters – Bernard, Hoagie, and Laverne. They have to stop an evil purple tentacle from taking over the world.

Well, yesterday, I found out something new! The three of them can send items to each other through the chron-o-jon without having to actually walk to the chron-o-jon and flushing! All I have to do is click on the item I want to send, and then click on the person’s icon! I’m blogging about this because I am amazed I didn’t know about this before.

Today is the 2nd Annual International Weblogger’s Day. I had no idea there was a day specified for bloggers.

WOW. The pMachine site redesign looks so so beautiful. And they’ve shut down the support forums temporarily to switch over to the EE forum module. I cannot wait to see what it’ll look like.

The moment is almost here! Hehe.
