Guess what I got in my inbox today? An email from myself, one year and one week ago! Thanks to the FutureMe.org. At that site, you can type an email to yourself and have it mailed to you on a specific date.

I remember that when I wrote an email to myself last year, I specified that I wanted it to be sent to me in one week. But I guess that time frame is too short and they added on an extra year, because the email has finally reached me after one year and one week.

Here’s what I wrote:

At the time I wrote in something silly to see if the service worked.

Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes! :heart:

My birthday was okay. I got quite a few e-cards. And this year I remembered to save them! But a lot of them use flash. I did manage to save a Hallmark e-card (a flash based one) onto my computer, but the birthday greeting isn’t there.

My main birthday present was a cell phone and a phone plan. I’ve known about this since Thursday so it wasn’t a surprise, but I’m excited! I considered getting a camera phone, but it cost more (the phone I’m getting is free) and I don’t think I’d use the camera that often. I won’t be trying out moblogging any time soon.

Yesterday, my mom found another turtle in our neighbourhood. Like the last time this turtle is a painted turtle. This one was smaller than the first one, and much less aggressive. We’re releasing it tomorrow (tomorrow also happens to be my birthday ).
