The Constant Gardner

The story is set in Africa. Tessa (Rachel Weisz), the wife of a British diplomat Justin Quayle (Ralph Fiennes), is found brutally murdered out in the desert. The man who was travelling with Tessa had disappeared. Justin, who was devastated, goes on a mission to find out who killed his wife. Through flashbacks, we learn how Justin and Tessa met, and Tessa’s suspiscious behaviour before she died. As Justin digs deeper he discovers what his wife was working on, and that some powerful people who were behind his wife’s death – people who now would kill him, too. The movie is based on a novel by John Le Carre.

The Terminal

Victor Navorski, played by Tom Hanks, is a tourist coming into the US from the eastern European country of Krakozhia. When he arrives at the airport in New York, the custom officials are faced with a dilmemma – Navorski’s not allowed into the U.S., and he cannot go back to his home country. The airport official Frank Dixon (Stanley Tucci) is forced to make Navorski stay in the airport until things are sorted out. While living in the airport, Navorski learns English, makes friends with the employees, gets a job, meets a girl (Catherine Zeta-Jones) and wins over most of the people working at the airport!
